My project this week is the base wall for my home portrait studio. For now I plan for this to be a formal wall that I can use for family portraits and large groups as well as for individuals. It measures 14x8 feet and will sit on large casters. Eventually I will drywall the other side and have 2 different "walls" I can use by simply turning it around. The bamboo flooring from Costco should add the right touch of class.
I picked up the paint today from Home Depot's "Oops paint" section - $5 for a gallon! Can't beat that! I was wanting a neutral color to start with and they had a cream that should work very well (an answer to prayer).
If everything goes as planned I'll raise the wall this afternoon. Then it's on to mudding the drywall, priming, and painting. I have an appointment next Monday night for a group shot and hope to use the wall for the first time!
