Abigail has a basket on the front of her bike. It's cute - something you would expect for a girl. Silas decided recently that he wanted something on the front of his bike as well. He didn't have any place to put his drink when he was biking. We were scratching our heads trying to think of something we could use that wouldn't look "girly." Then Amanda remembered that last year we bought him an army backpack with a canteen holder to play with. He was a little too small for it, so we had put it away to save until he was a little older. We dug it out of the closet and it is perfect! There's a little hole in the top where it can be fastened to the side. As far as Silas is concerned this hole was made for a straw to go through! Now when he's biking he can lean forward and take a drink. Totally boy! Totally perfect!
